The main topic of discussion was electricity exports from the Kambarata-1 hydroelectric power plant and reducing the country's dependence on energy imports.
The parties discussed how MIGA guarantees will help Kyrgyzstan attract investors for the development of hydropower, agriculture, and infrastructure. They talked about protecting investments from political and economic risks, as well as attracting private capital for large projects such as IWS Agro.
According to the minister, MIGA's participation will accelerate the implementation of strategic initiatives, improve energy efficiency, and strengthen the economy's resilience to external challenges. In the long term, this will create new jobs and ensure a more stable energy supply in the country.
