Temporary Ban on Export of Recyclable Paper and Cardboard Enforced Outside EAEU

A temporary six-month ban has been implemented on the export of recyclable paper and cardboard (waste and scrap) beyond the customs territory of the Eurasian Economic Union (excluding transit and humanitarian aid provided by the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic).

This ban applies to materials classified under code 4707 of the EAEU Commodity Nomenclature of Foreign Economic Activity and will take effect three days after the enactment of the current decree. The decision was signed by Adylbek Kasymaliev, the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The decree aims to prevent a critical shortage of raw materials in the domestic market, stimulate production, and increase exports of finished products, while enforcing a temporary export ban lasting six months on recyclable paper and cardboard beyond the customs territory of the Eurasian Economic Union.
