Adylbek Kasymaliev and EAEU leaders attend Innoprom Belarus 2026, participate in plenary session

Kyrgyzstan is interested in producing machinery, electrical equipment, building materials, pharmaceutical products and light industrial goods in collaboration with its EAEU partners. Adylbek Kasymaliev, Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, made this statement on 1 October at the plenary session of the ‘Innoprom. Belarus 2026’ exhibition in Minsk.

According to him, joint ventures could target the markets of the Eurasian Economic Union and Central Asia. Kyrgyzstan is ready to offer its partners production facilities and skilled labour, whilst growing domestic demand creates opportunities to attract technology and industrial expertise.

Kasymaliev noted that the construction of the China–Kyrgyzstan–Uzbekistan railway and the Kambar-Ata Hydroelectric Power Station No. 1 is driving demand for machinery and electrical equipment.

“Such projects generate significant demand for machinery and electrical equipment, and we want a substantial proportion of this to be manufactured in the Union’s member states,” said the Prime Minister.

As an example of industrial cooperation, he cited the power transformer factory opened in Bishkek, which utilises Belarusian technology.

According to figures cited by Kasymaliev, the value of Kyrgyzstan’s industrial output has more than doubled, rising from $4.024 billion in 2021 to $9.014 billion in 2025. Over the past three years, 287 industrial enterprises have been commissioned in the country. Investment in these enterprises totalled around $2 billion, creating some 21,000 jobs. A further 47 enterprises are planned to be launched by the end of 2026.

The Prime Minister also stated that, for large-scale projects, there is provision for concluding investment agreements with the government, offering guarantees and tailored terms.

Products from 12 industrial companies are on display at Kyrgyzstan’s national stand at the exhibition. The total exhibition area at ‘Innoprom. Belarus’ exceeds 20,000 square metres.

Kasymaliev arrived in Minsk on a working visit on 1 October. The programme also includes participation in meetings of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council, following which documents on further cooperation between the EAEU member states are expected to be signed.
