11/07/2025, 14:01On April 28, 2025, Kyrgyzstan launched the project “Kyrgyz Republic's Bishkek City and Chuy Region Gasification Project-3.” The goal of the initiative is to accelerate the gasification of the capital and Chui Province through preferential financing.
Two state-owned banks, Ayyl Bank and Eldik Bank, are participating in the implementation, with total project financing amounting to 200 million KGS. As of October 23, 2025, 88 entities across the country have already received preferential loans totaling 10.94 million KGS.
The project aims to support businesses and accelerate connection to gas networks, which in the long term should make energy supplies more affordable and stable for residents of the region.
