10/27/2025, 11:47A delegation from the State Tax Service of Kyrgyzstan, led by Deputy Chairman Bakyt Dzhienbekov, visited the headquarters of the Swiss company SICPA to exchange experiences and study innovative solutions in the field of digital tax administration.
During the visit, which took place from 21 to 23 October, representatives of the State Tax Service discussed with SICPA management the prospects for introducing goods traceability technologies, digital labelling and product circulation control tools in Kyrgyzstan.
The company presented international standards for tracking and identifying precious metals, goods and raw materials, as well as laboratory methods for detecting counterfeit and illegal products.
According to representatives of the tax service, the use of SICPA solutions will increase tax collection, reduce the share of shadow turnover and ensure the transparency of financial flows.
Of particular interest were digital identification and marking technologies used to control the production, import and sale of goods.
Deputy Chairman of the State Tax Service Bakyt Jienbekov emphasised that cooperation with SICPA will be an important step in modernising the Kyrgyz tax system and bringing it into line with international standards of transparency and control.
