07/05/2025, 10:15There are less than three months left until the end of the one-time program of legalization of right-hand drive cars and cars with foreign license plates, which has been in effect in Kyrgyzstan since March 1, 2025.
Recall, the program will last until August 31, 2025 and consists of three stages. At the first stage, cars in good condition with a full package of documents were registered. The second stage provides for the registration of serviceable vehicles without title documents, for example, previously untitled. The third stage is intended for vehicles that are not subject to legalization due to lack of documents or technical defects - their owners will be offered to take the cars out of the country or dismantle them for spare parts.
Legalization applies only to vehicles imported into Kyrgyzstan before January 1, 2025. Vehicles imported after this date will not be registered.
