07/05/2025, 14:17In January-May 2025, the production of different types of alcohol in Kyrgyzstan changed compared to the same period in 2024. In general, the production of many types of alcohol decreased, but there is an increase in some categories.
Production of cognac decreased - from 343 to 293 thousand liters. A little less ethyl alcohol was produced - from 4 thousand 586 to 4 thousand 281 thousand liters. Beer is also produced less - almost 5% less than last year (from 16.6 thousand to 15.8 thousand liters).
Vodka, on the contrary, is slightly more - 4.5 thousand liters in 2025 against 4.4 thousand in 2024.
Interestingly, the production of sparkling wine increased almost 7 times - from 2.8 to 20.3 thousand liters. Also the production of fruit and berry wines increased significantly - from 135 to 214 thousand liters. But other types of wines decreased. Champagne began to be made less - from 34 to 5 thousand liters. Wines from fresh grapes also decreased - from 96 to 53 thousand liters.
