Torobaev visited major industrial enterprises in the Chinese province of Shandong

On 17 June, as part of a working visit to Shandong Province (PRC), Bakyt Torobaev, Special Representative of the President of Kyrgyzstan for Special Assignments, held a series of meetings and visited the region’s leading industrial enterprises.

The programme included visits to Shandong Heavy Industry Group — one of China’s largest engineering holding companies and a manufacturer of heavy machinery and transport equipment — Sinotruk — a leading manufacturer of lorries, Zhongtong—a manufacturer of buses and passenger transport—and Shantui, which specialises in the production of construction and road machinery.

In addition, the Kyrgyz delegation visited Lovol Heavy Industry and Lovol Smart Agriculture, which manufacture agricultural machinery and develop solutions for digital agriculture; KENGIC Intelligent Technology, which operates in the field of smart industrial equipment; and Haier Biomedical — one of the leaders in the field of medical equipment, biomedicine and biological material storage systems.

Following the meetings, the parties reaffirmed their mutual interest in the further development of Kyrgyz-Chinese cooperation and the expansion of collaboration in industry, agriculture, education and healthcare.
