Bishkek City Hall has launched temporary buses on the Bishkek–Tokmok route

On 20 September, the Bishkek City Council announced the launch of temporary city buses on the Bishkek–Tokmok–Bishkek route.

The need for additional transport arose due to the increase in passenger traffic between the two cities, as well as a temporary reduction in the number of private carriers.

Unofficially, carriers are refusing to work on the route due to heavy traffic and regular traffic jams at the entrance to the capital, which makes the trips less profitable.

The new buses are intended to ensure uninterrupted transport links between Bishkek and Tokmok and reduce the burden on passengers during rush hour. The temporary route will operate until the situation on the route stabilises.
