01/17/2026, 09:10Non-bank microcredit organizations issued 634.17 billion KGS to the population in January–September last year, but they lost some of their customers.
According to statistics, 796,800 people received microloans. This is 13.2% less than in the same period last year. This means that microcredit organizations actually lost about 121,000 customers. For comparison, in January-September 2024, microloans covered over 900,000 people.
Against the backdrop of a shrinking customer base, the volume of loans issued, on the contrary, grew by more than a third, or 15.88 billion KGS in annual terms. Thus, the market is shifting from mass microcredit to larger loans per borrower.
The majority of loans were issued:
Women continue to predominate among borrowers — 55.8%, or 444,200 people.
