09/07/2026, 16:21Following an additional off-auction placement of five-year government treasury bonds, the Ministry of Finance raised 30 million KGS — just 15 per cent of the planned amount.
The placement took place on 7 September via the National Bank of Kyrgyzstan. The issue size had initially been announced as 200 million KGS. Consequently, securities worth 170 million KGS, or 85 per cent of the issue, remained unsold.
The yield on the bonds was set at 15.22 per cent, with a price of 68.51 KGS. The maturity date of the issue is 7 September 2031.
It should be noted that, as at 4 September, the volume of Kyrgyzstan’s debt placed by the Ministry of Finance in five-year treasury bonds stood at 40.48 billion KGS.
