Special equipment worth 145.8 million KGS was handed over to the Ministry of Energy

Prime Minister Adylbek Kasymaliyev handed over the keys to special vehicles to the Ministry of Energy.

It should be noted that, in accordance with the plan for capital construction, reconstruction, technical support and modernisation of the facilities of JSC Kyrgyzstan Uluttuk Elektr Tarmagy, 17 JAC-T8 brigade vehicles, eight SHANMON-388H backhoe loaders, and, as part of the ‘Modernisation and Sustainable Development of the Energy Sector’ project, two 45-metre-high truck cranes based on KAMAZ-43118 and ten JAC-N56 brigade vehicles.

The total cost of the 37 pieces of specialised equipment was 145.8 million KGS.

Speaking at the ceremony, Prime Minister Adylbek Kasymaliyev noted that the development of the energy sector is one of the priorities of state policy, and added that, on the instructions of President Sadyr Zhaparov, large-scale and coordinated construction work is being carried out in the energy sector, and major projects are being implemented.

"Kyrgyzstan's energy sector is developing year by year, strengthening in technical terms, and renewing its hydropower capacity. Hydroelectric power stations are being modernised, units are being replaced, and the service life of energy facilities is being extended. This is the result of your work. In recent years, we have acquired hundreds of units of specialised and service equipment. I am confident that the positive changes in the energy sector will continue. Today, we have also handed over new equipment to you. May it serve the people and the state", — said Prime Minister Adylbek Kasymaliyev.

In 2025, a total of more than 160 units of specialised motor vehicles were purchased for the energy and coal industries.
