In particular, the parties discussed the provision of a World Bank program loan of $101.5 million this year and the continuation of the program in 2026.
As noted by the ministry, the money will be used to support structural reforms and increase the sustainability of the national economy. According to the parties, the successful implementation of the initiative will strengthen the financial sector, create conditions for the modernization of energy infrastructure, and stimulate the development of small and medium-sized businesses.
Particular emphasis was placed on a strategically important project — the construction of the Kambarata HPP-1, which plays a key role in ensuring the country's energy security and developing regional cooperation.
In addition, the parties discussed measures to improve energy efficiency, support entrepreneurship, and attract investment, which should contribute to Kyrgyzstan's long-term economic growth.
