Minister of Labour Sabirov attended a selection event for seasonal work in the UK agricultural sector

On 4 March 2025, the Minister of Labour, Social Security and Migration of Kyrgyzstan R.A. Sabirov attended an event to select candidates for seasonal work in the UK agricultural sector. The event was organised by the Centre for Employment of Citizens Abroad with the support of British operators ‘HOPS Labor Solutions Ltd’ and ‘Pro-Force’, authorised by the UK government.

The selection process involves several stages: testing, interview and physical skills testing to assess the candidates' qualifications and preparedness. Minister Sabirov noted the importance of ensuring transparency, safety and efficiency of such events, stressing that cooperation with the UK not only opens jobs, but also protects the rights of migrant workers. He wished the candidates success, noting that the selection opens up prospects not only for employment but also for career development.

In 2025, 33,506 citizens participated in the selection drives, out of which 2,250 were invited for interview with HOPS Labour Solutions Ltd and 2,000 applied for online registration through Pro-Force. Successful candidates will be offered employment opportunities in the UK for up to 6 months.
