The Minister of Emergency Situations has been given a severe reprimand.

Kyrgyz President Sadyr Zhaparov signed an order imposing disciplinary sanctions on Emergency Situations Minister Boobek Azhikeev.

According to the document, a severe reprimand was issued for improper performance of duties. The decision was based on Article 71 of the Constitution and subparagraph "b" of paragraph 75 of the Disciplinary Regulations of the Armed Forces.

Details of the reasons for the disciplinary action have not been disclosed.

Kyrgyzstanis spent almost 120 million soms on jewellery in the first two months of 2025
In January-February 2025, Kyrgyzstan imported jewellery worth 119.7 million KGS (1.37 million dollars), which is 21% less than in the same period last year.
