Across the republic, 614,000 hectares of low-yield land have been identified. The ministry is encouraging all citizens to develop such land, stating that citizens have the opportunity to earn good money and, in addition, turn Kyrgyzstan into a green zone.
Those wishing to cultivate low-yield land and pastures will receive comprehensive support from the ministry and the district agricultural development administration. They will be assisted with the installation of drip irrigation systems, obtaining preferential loans, and consultations with professional farmers on the selection of suitable, high-quality seedlings and seeds.
