This issue was raised during the third People's Kurultai. As a result, the necessary funds were allocated from the republican budget, and the Aksy District Water Management Administration was entrusted with the implementation of the project.
In 2025, construction work began in accordance with the established procedure and is currently being carried out in accordance with the approved schedule. The project will involve the construction of a modern irrigation system, including the laying of water pipes with a total length of 16 kilometers.
The construction of the Kashka-Suu irrigation site is scheduled to be fully completed in May 2026, with the facility subsequently being put into operation in the same year. Upon completion of construction, 500 hectares of agricultural land in the villages of Sogot and Kara-Tobo will be provided with a stable supply of irrigation water, which will increase crop yields, boost the income of peasant farms, and eliminate the shortage of irrigation water.
The Aksy District Water Management Administration notes that the implementation of this project will make a significant contribution to the development of the district's agricultural sector, improving the living conditions of the population and the overall socio-economic development of the region.
