In Aksy, a capsule was laid in the foundation of a transformer repair workshop building

Energy Minister Taalaibek Ibraev laid a time capsule in the foundation of a transformer repair workshop at the Aksy District Electric Grids facility.

The old building was constructed in the 1980s using the ashar method and, over half a century, had fallen into disrepair and no longer met sanitary standards.

This year, the facility was included in the capital construction plan of the Jalal-Abad Electric Grid Enterprise, and the construction contract was awarded to Amazon LLC. Funding in the amount of 7.5 million soms was allocated from the own funds of OJSC ‘NESK’. The completion of the workshop is scheduled for autumn 2025.

The minister noted that after the completion of the modern building, comfortable conditions will be created for employees, which will improve the quality of their work. He also met with the staff, discussed a number of pressing issues and assured them that the creation of favourable conditions for employees will continue.

Deputy of the Jogorku Kenesh Azizbek Tursunbaev, Minister of Energy Taalaibek Ibraev and General Director of OJSC ‘NESK’ Altynbek Rysbekov familiarised themselves with the condition of the Ala-Bukinsky RES building after major repairs and took part in the opening ceremony.

The building was constructed in 1989 and had fallen into disrepair, so in 2024, OJSC ‘NESK’ allocated 5.123 million soms for its major renovation, which was included in the capital construction plan of the Jalal-Abad Electric Grid Enterprise. The renovated building provides comfortable working conditions for employees, and a modern LED screen has been installed in the control room.

Now employees can remotely monitor the load in different areas and quickly identify outages. The minister handed over a JAG brigade vehicle to the Ala-Buki Power Grid to facilitate the work of employees.

In addition, a meeting was held with residents of the Ala-Bukinsky district to discuss energy issues. Local residents requested that outdated wooden poles, transformers and overhead lines be replaced. The minister promptly resolved some issues on the spot and gave instructions to the relevant officials.

The meeting participants noted that attention to the energy sector had increased significantly over the past three years, resulting in fewer power outages, and expressed their gratitude to the Ministry of Energy.
