During his visit to the fair, the minister talked with domestic producers, listened to their opinions on the current situation, as well as their suggestions and problems. Particular attention was paid to the prices of meat products. In particular, it was noted that meat is sold at the fair at a price ranging from 600 to 680 KGS per kilogram.
In addition, with a view to developing meat sheep farming, the minister gave instructions to allocate land for fodder production to farmers engaged in sheep breeding.
As part of his working trip, Bakyt Torobaev also used video conferencing to familiarize himself with the progress of fairs in the country's regions. Local leaders were given specific instructions to ensure price stability for food products, to tidy up the areas where the fairs are held, and to create the necessary conditions for both sellers and the population.
The ministry will continue its systematic work to support domestic agricultural producers, provide the population with high-quality and affordable food, and control prices for socially significant goods.
