07/29/2026, 14:33The Ministry of Natural Resources’ revenue for the first half of 2026 amounted to 1.9 billion KGS, which is 4.3 times the target. This was announced at a meeting of the ministry’s executive board.
The Ministry of Natural Resources has summarised its performance for the first half of 2026. At the board meeting, key performance indicators were presented and priorities for the second half of the year were set.
According to the ministry, its revenue reached 1 billion 908.8 million KGS, with the target met at 428.3 per cent. Revenue from licence renewal fees amounted to 461.1 million KGS, which corresponds to 122.85 per cent of the annual target.
In addition, 46.5 billion KGS was received into the budget from the activities of mining enterprises, and 159.3 million KGS from the recycling levy. Over the six-month period, the ministry also planted more than 3.5 million saplings, reduced the number of solid waste disposal sites from 411 to 290, and saw 173,300 tourists visit specially protected natural areas.
The meeting focused on the Ministry’s performance during the first half of the year and on setting objectives for the remainder of 2026.
The Ministry reported that it is continuing to implement environmental projects, digitise services and improve the natural resource management system.
