12/30/2025, 12:312025 was a period of large-scale infrastructure transformations for Kyrgyzstan. The Ministry of Construction implemented and launched several major projects affecting transport, tourism, culture and the social sphere. Key projects include the reconstruction of Manas International Airport and the construction of a new terminal at Osh International Airport. The ministry announced this on its social media page.
Active work was also carried out in the regions. In the Issyk-Kul region, construction of the US-TOO resort complex continues. In Talas, the Balastan children's entertainment centre is being implemented. For the first time in history, a large-scale reconstruction of the Manas Ordo complex, which is an important cultural and historical site in the country, has begun.
At the same time, the ministry has launched institutional reforms. In 2025, an engineering research department was created to strengthen state regulation in this area. Branches of the state-owned enterprise Kyrgyzkurulush have been opened in Talas and the Osh region, and construction has begun on 16 administrative buildings for architectural departments, five of which have already been put into operation. The southern branch of the Institute of Earthquake-Resistant Construction also began operating in the Osh region, and a branch of the Certification Centre opened in the city of Cholpon-Ata. The simplification of licensing procedures was another step towards reducing bureaucracy as part of the policy of debureaucratisation of public administration.
