The Ministry of Labor has begun issuing 150,000 KGS for starting a business as part of a social contract

The Ministry of Labor, Social Security, and Migration has announced that it is now accepting applications for social contracts—free financial assistance for starting your own business.

Under the social contract program, citizens can receive 150,000 KGS to start a small business. In 2026, support is planned for 13,334 families.

Applications can be submitted through the aiyl okmotu or regional offices of the ministry. Low-income families who have a social passport or receive the “uy-bulogo komok” allowance are eligible to participate in the program. A mandatory requirement is the availability of labor and property potential, as well as a realistic business plan.

Priority will be given to projects in “green” areas, initiatives within the framework of the “One Village - One Product” program, families with disabled members, as well as applicants with sustainable and profitable business ideas.

The decision to grant funds is made by special commissions at local administrations and mayor's offices with the participation of representatives of the authorities, business, and public organizations.
