07/10/2026, 10:16The “Yntymak-Dostuk” municipal enterprise, under the Dostuk Aiyl Okmotu, has been fined 17,000 KGS for polluting the Alamedin River with household waste and plastic bottles. This was reported by the Ministry of Natural Resources, Ecology and Technical Supervision.
The administrative penalty was imposed following an inspection carried out after a video showing the polluted section of the river in the village of Lenin, Alamudun District, was shared on social media.
Following the publication of this information, specialists from the Ministry of Natural Resources’ Environmental and Technical Supervision Service, together with representatives of the Chui Region Main Directorate of Internal Affairs and the municipal enterprise, carried out a clean-up of the area.
In addition, department staff carried out awareness-raising work among local residents on the need to comply with environmental requirements, treat nature with care, and dispose of household waste only in designated areas.
Residents were also issued with warnings regarding the unacceptability of repeat offences.
