SCNB KR within the framework of measures to identify and return to state ownership of illegally privatised objects, including industrial and social, as well as the results of investigative and operational activities within the framework of pre-trial proceedings registered on the fact of legalisation (laundering) of proceeds of crime, on the balance sheet of the state represented by the State Agency for State Property Management transferred the plant for the production of porcelain stoneware, marble slabs and sand and gravel with the use of marble and granite slabs in the city of Tokmok.
«Kyrgyz Too-Tash» dates back to the distant 60s, when the plant was of all-union importance and provided stone to many cities of the USSR. More than 60 per cent of municipal buildings in Bishkek (the capital of Kyrgyzstan) were built using Kyrgyz Too-Tash materials (granite, marble, limestone, coquina, crushed stone).
Production is modernised and based on the most modern equipment imported from Italy; the plant has its own quarries, an access railway and a fleet of trucks at its disposal. Monthly volume of production is more than 30 thousand square metres of facing slabs (marble, limestone, granite).
At the same time, the activity of the above-mentioned enterprise is aimed at exporting the final products in large volumes.
