Phytosanitary control point “Ak-Zhol” resumes operation on the border with Kazakhstan

Since June 20, 2025, the phytosanitary control point “Ak-Jol road” on the Kyrgyz-Kazakhstan state border resumes its work. This decision was made in order to increase the export potential of agricultural products of domestic producers.

The opening of an additional point will unload the existing border crossings, where there is now a high flow of agricultural cargo. This, in turn, will improve the quality and efficiency of phytosanitary control.

The new point will reduce the risk of introduction and spread of quarantine pests and diseases - especially important in conditions of growing traffic flows and globalization.
