05/13/2026, 16:58Prime Minister Adylbek Kasymaliev undertook a working visit to the Issyk-Kul region. The main purpose of the visit was to assess the readiness of infrastructure and cultural facilities to host large-scale international events.
As part of the inspection, the Prime Minister visited the Kyrchyn Gorge, where he assessed the current condition of the venues designated for ethno-cultural events. Adylbek Kasymaliev then inspected the Centre for the Development of Ethno-Culture, Equestrian Sports and Breeding (the racecourse). During the inspection, issues regarding the modernisation of the facility and its preparation for upcoming competitions were discussed.
Particular attention was paid to preparations for hosting the international sporting event ‘UIM F1H2O World Championship – Kyrgyzstan Grand Prix. Issyk-Kul–2026’ in the village of Baet, Issyk-Kul District. The Prime Minister familiarised himself with the plan for the development of the lakeside area and the infrastructure required to host international teams and tourists.

Adylbek Kasymaliev also visited the “Rukh Ordo” cultural centre, noting the importance of preserving and properly maintaining the facility as one of the key centres for cultural exchange in the region, as well as a venue for official events during the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation meeting and the World Nomad Games.
During the working visit, the Prime Minister was briefed on the technical specifications of new specialised equipment purchased for the needs of the Ministry of Construction, Architecture and Housing and Communal Services. Minister Nurdán Oruntayev reported on plans for the distribution of the equipment, which will be used to improve infrastructure and enhance the amenities of settlements across the region. The Prime Minister emphasised that the renewal of the vehicle fleet should have a direct impact on the efficiency and quality of construction and utility works.
Following the trip, the Prime Minister issued a series of instructions to the relevant ministries and local authorities to accelerate the pace of site preparation, ensuring strict adherence to schedules and international quality standards when organising international events.
