A number of documents were signed and adopted at the Seventh Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia

Today, November 16, during his working visit to Uzbekistan, President Sadyr Zhaparov took part in the Seventh Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia in Tashkent. Following the meeting, the heads of state signed a number of documents.

The heads of state signed a joint statement following the consultative meeting, an appeal by the heads of state of Central Asia to the UN member states on the candidacy of the Kyrgyz Republic for non-permanent membership of the UN Security Council for the period 2027-2028.

A decision was also signed on the full participation of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the consultative meeting of the heads of state of Central Asia. In addition, the presidents signed a concept of regional security, stability, and sustainable development in Central Asia; and a catalog of security risks in Central Asia and measures to prevent them for 2026-2028.
