03/30/2026, 09:39The State Agency for State Property Management has announced the launch of the second phase of an auction for the sale of land plots in the “Ala-Too Resort” resort area in the Ak-Suu District of Issyk-Kul Province.
Thirty-six lots are up for auction, including both tourist and infrastructure facilities. The plots are located in the construction zone of the “Zhyrgalang” resort, where 3-, 4-, and 5-star hotels, apartments, an ethnic village, restaurants, and other commercial facilities are planned to be built.
The auction will be held online on the auctionetp.gov.kg platform. Bidding is scheduled for April 8, 9, and 10, 2026—12 lots per day.
This is the second phase of the project’s implementation. Following the first auction, held in July 2025, 14 of the 49 lots were sold, including key properties—five-star hotels, Scandinavian-style hotels, and VIP cottages. All were purchased by local investors.
After the completion of the first phase, the boundaries of the plots were finalized, state deeds (“red books”) were issued to investors, and construction on some of the properties has already begun.
To participate in the auction, applicants must submit an application, pay a deposit, and provide identification. If a bidder loses, the deposit is refunded; however, for the winner, it is credited toward the purchase price. If the winner withdraws from the transaction, the funds paid are not refunded.
The auction may be declared void if there are no applications or an insufficient number of participants.
Separate conditions apply to foreign investors. Land plots will be provided to them for temporary use for a term of up to 49 years in accordance with Kyrgyzstan’s land legislation.
