10/22/2026, 10:16In the Nooken District of the Jalal-Abad Region, work has begun on resurfacing a 10-kilometre section of the Mailuu-Suu–Madaniat road. Of the eight bridges planned under the project, three have already been built.
According to the Ministry of Transport, earthworks and the laying of water pipes have been completed on this section. The plan is to lay a two-layer asphalt surface. Twenty-five pieces of specialist machinery and 15 workers are involved in the project.
The project aims to improve transport links in the region and enhance road safety.
