01/23/2025, 14:22In 2024, the State Tax Service of Kyrgyzstan collected a record 228.2 billion KGS in the country's budget. This was reported in the department.
The main sources of revenue were VAT on domestic goods (39.4 billion KGS), VAT on imports from EAEU countries (37.9 billion KGS), income tax (26.5 billion KGS), income tax (20.1 billion KGS) and tax on income of gold mining companies (16.1 billion KGS).
Compared to 2023, there is a significant increase in revenues. VAT on domestic goods increased by KGS 9.6 billion (+132.4%), VAT on imports from EAEU countries - by KGS 5.2 billion (+115.9%), income tax - by KGS 4.7 billion (+121.4%), profit tax - by KGS 2.5 billion (+114%). The record growth was shown by the single tax, which increased by 212.6% (+8 billion KGS).
It is noted that the increase in tax collections was possible due to improved tax administration, enhanced monitoring and analysis, as well as the introduction of modern digital technologies.
