    Naryn region became the leader of growth in the sphere of hotel and restaurant services

    In the first quarter of 2025 in Naryn region there was a significant growth in the field of hotel and restaurant services, increasing the volume of services provided from 10.5 million KGS to 33.1 million KGS, which is 303.8% compared to the same period of 2024. Such data is provided by the National Statistical Committee.

    This growth distinguishes Naryn oblast as the leader among the regions of Kyrgyzstan in terms of the rate of increase in the volume of services in this sphere. For comparison, in Issyk-Kul oblast the volume of services increased by 50.3%, in Chui oblast - by 47.3%, in Osh oblast - by 39.8%.

    This growth can be explained by the increase in the number of tourists. In 2024, Naryn region was visited by more than 141 thousand tourists, of which 28 thousand came from abroad, including guests from Germany, France, China and other countries. 

    In addition, In response to the growing demand, new tourist facilities such as Son-Kol glamping sites and hotels have been opened in the region. 
    In addition, a GoBus project was implemented to improve transportation services for travelers.
