05/14/2026, 10:55In the Jalal-Abad region, the licences of two currency exchange bureaus have been temporarily suspended.
The licence of the currency exchange bureau ‘Emerald City’ LLC has been suspended for breaching the requirements of Kyrgyz legislation and the National Bank’s regulations. The restriction is in force from 14 to 18 May 2026 inclusive.
This concerns the currency exchange bureau located at 11/1 Sulaimanova Street in the town of Bazar-Korgon. The licence was previously issued on 26 May 2025.
The National Bank has not specified the details of the violations identified, but such measures are usually applied in cases of non-compliance with foreign exchange regulations and the regulator’s requirements.
The licence of the second currency exchange bureau, Magnet X LLC, has been suspended for a period from 14 to 28 May 2026 inclusive, for breaching the requirements of Kyrgyz legislation and the regulatory legal acts of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic. The licence dated 16 September 2022 of the currency exchange bureau ‘Magnit X’ LLC, also located in the city of Bazar-Korgon, at 81 Kapara Kultayeva Street, has been suspended.
It should be noted that yesterday ‘Akchabar’ reported on the suspension of another currency exchange bureau — ‘Euro Lust’. The licence, issued on 7 August 2023, was suspended by the National Bank from 13 to 17 May 2026 for similar breaches of the requirements of legislation and the regulator’s regulatory legal acts.
