12/03/2025, 17:48The National Bank of Kyrgyzstan has extended the ban on charging fees for domestic money transfers in national currency made via mobile applications and internet banking. This decision is enshrined in Resolution No. 2025-P-12/64-5-(PS) of the Board of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic dated 3 December 2025.
The extension will be in effect from 1 January to 31 December 2026. During this period, commercial banks and payment organisations are prohibited from charging individuals commissions for domestic transfers. The measure is aimed at increasing the accessibility of digital financial services and encouraging cashless payments.
