The National Bank has approved personnel appointments at four Kyrgyz banks at once

On June 16, the National Bank of Kyrgyzstan approved a number of personnel appointments at four commercial banks in the country. The decisions concern positions in the areas of internal audit, executive management, and corporate governance.

Specifically, the regulator approved Gulnara Esenalieva’s nomination for the position of director of the internal audit department at Alma Finance Bank. Previously, in 2020, she served as deputy head of the internal audit department at Keremet Bank.

At Finance Credit Bank, the appointment of Mirbek Toichuev as Deputy Chairman of the Management Board has been approved. Prior to this, he headed a branch of the commercial bank “KYRGYZSTAN” (now Mbank).

Ulan Razhapov has been approved for the position of Director of the Internal Audit Department at Optima Bank. Previously, he worked as a specialist in the Internal Control Department at Demir Bank.

In addition, the National Bank has approved the candidacy of Aliya Chynybaeva for the position of member of the Board of Directors of OJSC “O!Bank.” Prior to this, she served as Chair of the bank’s Management Board (she had led the bank since January 2020, when it was still operating under the brand name “Halyk Bank Kyrgyzstan.” It was sold for $37.1 million at the end of 2023).
