07/26/2026, 10:12Non-tax revenue to Kyrgyzstan’s state budget for the period January–April 2026 totalled 109.8 billion KGS. Compared with the same period last year, this figure increased by 30.2 billion KGS, or 38.0 per cent. This is stated in a report by the Ministry of Finance.
Despite significant growth in absolute terms, the share of non-tax revenue in the overall budget revenue structure fell by 2.1 percentage points.
The main source of this growth was revenue from property and interest. This increased by 21.3 billion KGS, or 41.9 per cent. A further 5.4 billion KGS of the increase came from other non-tax revenue, which rose by a factor of 1.7. Revenue from fees and charges increased by 1.1 billion KGS, or by 22.8 per cent.
At the same time, the volume of official transfers declined. Over the first four months of this year, the budget received 1.75 billion KGS, which is 99.7 million KGS, or 5.4 per cent, less than a year earlier. Their share of state budget revenue fell by 0.3 percentage points to 0.6%.
The sharpest increase was recorded in revenue from the sale of non-financial assets. In January–April 2026, these reached 14.49 billion KGS, compared with just 50.5 million KGS a year earlier. Thus, revenue from this source increased by more than 14.4 billion KGS.
The figures are based on the state budget and do not take into account inter-governmental transfers between different levels of government.
