02/10/2025, 20:45Today at the meeting of the Central Election Commission Nurzhan Shaildabekova submitted her resignation from the post of Chairman, which was satisfied by the members of the Commission. Tynchtyk Shainazarov, who previously held the position of deputy chairman, was elected as the new head of the CEC.
Shaildabekova thanked colleagues and partners for joint work, noting the importance of further development of the electoral system.
For his part, Shainazarov expressed gratitude for the trust and said he would focus on election transparency, CEC independence and building citizens' confidence.
