Tashiev orders demolition of new shopping centre on Chui Avenue

Deputy Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic and Chairman of the State Committee for National Security, Colonel General K. Tashiev, on behalf of President Sadyr Zhaparov, inspected the progress of construction work on Chui Avenue in Bishkek.

Following the inspection, he gave a direct order to demolish the new shopping centre, as well as to dismantle structures, car parks and bus stops that narrow the carriageway. The Ministry of Construction, the city council and contractors have been instructed to quickly restore the road surface and infrastructure, ensuring convenience for the residents of the capital.

The construction company has undertaken to tidy up the area and complete the work as soon as possible so that traffic on Chui Avenue becomes safe and free-flowing.
