By the end of the year, the National Electric Network of Kyrgyzstan will commission 12 new PGCs, DPGs and Power Sales Office buildings

To improve the customer service quality and efficiency in providing uninterrupted power supply to electricity consumers, the Company's capital construction plan for 2024 included the construction at its own expense of 12 new administrative buildings - the Power Grid Company (PGC), District Power Grids (DPG), power grid sites and the Power Sales Office.

Three buildings have already been commissioned, two sections of power grids in Toktogul and Sokuluk DPGs and one Suzak Power Supply Company. The next 9 buildings are planned to be completed by the end of this year:
-    administrative building of Batken electric networks enterprise, in Batken city;
-    administrative building of Sulukta district electric networks, in Sulukta city;
-    administrative building of Kara-Kulja district electric networks, in Kara-Kulja village;
-    administrative building of Yssyk-Ata District Power Grid, in Ivanovka village;
-    administrative building of the Information Data Processing Center, in Bishkek;
-    Kulatov power grid section, (Osh PGC);
-    Chek-Abad power grid section (Osh PGC);
-    Kyzyl-Zhar power grid section, (Jalal-Abad PGC);
-    Kyzyl-Tuu power grid section (Jalal-Abad PGC).

The administrative buildings under construction will be equipped with modern dispatch and remote centres using digital technologies in electricity metering for quality service of subscribers and with full territorial connection to the networks of the OJSC “National Electric Network of Kyrgyzstan”. In addition, modern Single Windows will operate for subscribers, with an electronic queuing system and comfortable conditions of the service area.

It should be noted that many DPG buildings were built 60-70 years ago and are in dilapidated condition. For example, the building of the Sulukta DPG was built in 1953, and the building of the Kara-Kuldzha DPG in 1965. The reception of subscribers was carried out in old and cramped premises, there were no waiting room and no electronic queuing system. In some PGCs there were no premises of power network sections, they had to rent premises. For example, the Chek-Abad network section of Aravan district was located in the village club.

This year, the buildings of the power sales office of Jalal-Abad City, Bazar-Korgon and Toktogul DPGs were also overhauled. Next year it is planned to continue constructing new and major repairs of other administrative buildings of energy sales offices and district power grids.
