12/22/2025, 08:53Since the beginning of the year, Islamic financing in Kyrgyzstan has increased by 91.5% to reach 17.3 billion KGS. For comparison, at the end of 2024, this figure was 9 billion KGS.
The most significant growth was recorded in the mortgage and consumer finance segments. Mortgages grew to 6.6 billion KGS, which is 105.1% more than last year. Consumer finance increased by 161.9% and amounted to 4.2 billion KGS.
There's also been a noticeable expansion in the real sector of the economy. Financing for agriculture hit 2.1 billion KGS, up 59.5%, and construction got 800 million KGS, up 64.7%. The amount of money going to trade was 1.1 billion KGS. This is 13.9% higher than at the end of last year.
Financing for industry remained relatively stable at 300 million KGS, showing a slight increase of 0.5%. Two billion KGS (+97.9%) were allocated for other purposes.
