10/04/2026, 17:15In January–August 2026, the volume of market services in Kyrgyzstan amounted to 1 trillion 789 billion KGS. Compared with the same period in 2025, this figure rose by 4.2 per cent.
Of the total volume, 1 trillion 002.9 billion KGS was accounted for by services provided to the population. Over the year, their volume increased by 10.8 per cent.
The bulk of the market is accounted for by wholesale and retail trade, as well as car and motorbike repairs. This sector accounted for 78.1 per cent of all market services — 1,396.6 billion KGS. The volume of services provided to the public in this sector amounted to 731.1 billion KGS.
Transport services and freight storage generated 71.5 billion KGS, whilst hotels and restaurants generated 42.2 billion KGS. Compared with January–August 2025, their volumes increased by 5.5 per cent and 9.1 per cent respectively.
Financial services and insurance accounted for 117.9 billion KGS, information and communications for 51.2 billion KGS, and real estate operations for 27.4 billion KGS. However, real estate services fell by 0.6 per cent compared with last year.
