Trading volume on the Kyrgyz Stock Exchange exceeded 2.68 billion KGS for the week

From 28 September to 2 October, the total trading volume on the Kyrgyz Stock Exchange amounted to 2.68 billion KGS. A total of 173 transactions were recorded.

Corporate securities accounted for the bulk of the turnover — 99.2 per cent, or around 2.66 billion KGS. Government securities accounted for 0.8 per cent of the volume.

On the primary market, 119 transactions were concluded, totalling 2.66 billion KGS. Shares in OJSC ‘Kygyzneftegaz’ were traded for 567.68 million KGS, whilst corporate bonds issued by OJSC ‘Kaindy Kant’, OJSC ‘Dos-Kredobank’ and OJSC ‘MFK InvesKor SA’ were traded for 2.09 billion KGS.

On the secondary market, there were 52 transactions involving ordinary shares totalling 3.69 million KGS. Shares traded included those of OJSC ‘Kyrgyzneftegaz’, OJSC ‘Airports of Kyrgyzstan’, OJSC “Mbank”, OJSC “Ashar Invest” and OJSC “Bishkek Machine-Building Plant”.

Market capitalisation as at 25 September stood at 284.08 billion KGS, with the KFB index at 8,152.14 points.
