08/25/2025, 16:10From 18 to 22 August 2025, transactions totalling 1 billion 80 thousand KGS were registered on the trading floor of the Kyrgyz Stock Exchange (KSE).
The majority of transactions (98.6%) were deals involving government securities. The most popular were two-year government treasury bonds (GKBs): seven deals were concluded for a total of 985.58 million KGS with an average weighted yield of 13%.
In the corporate securities segment, 59 transactions were recorded for a total of 14.48 million KGS. On the primary market, 16 transactions were conducted for bonds of Alfa Oil LLC for 4.56 million KGS. On the secondary market, activity was concentrated on common shares and bonds, with 43 transactions worth 9.92 million KGS. Issuers included Kyrgyzstan Airports OJSC, Mbank OJSC, Kyrgyzneftegaz OJSC, Uchkun OJSC, Teplichny OJSC, as well as microfinance organisations Elet-Capital, ABN and Salym Finance.
As of 22 August 2025, the capitalisation of the Kyrgyz stock market amounted to 228.59 billion KGS. However, the KFB index fell by 6,559.9 points (minus 24.93%) over the week, reflecting a decline in the prices of individual securities despite an increase in the total trading volume.
