In the Kyrgyz Republic, the volume of trading with securities increased by 306.7%

For the first seven months of 2024, the total volume of trading with securities in the market amounted to 97.4 billion KGS, which is 306.7% more compared to the corresponding period of the last year.

A total of 1,933 deals were closed in securities. At that, the volume of trades on the stock exchange market reached 97 bln KGS. The number of transactions on the stock exchange amounted to 1,290,290, of which a significant part falls on the CJSC “KASE” with trading volume of 86.1 billion KGS, OJSC “Envois Vision Digital Exchange” - 8.5 billion KGS and the CJSC “BTS Stock Exchange” - 2.4 billion KGS.

Most of the trades fell on the primary market. 635 deals were made in corporate bonds for a total of 356.3 mln. KGS on the trading floor of the CSJC “KASE”.

In addition, the number of issuers listed on stock exchanges amounted to 35. Professional participants of the securities market paid taxes of KGS 16.3 million and received a net profit of KGS 55.5 million for this period.

This growth indicates active development of the securities market in Kyrgyzstan and increased interest in exchange operations.
