08/03/2026, 12:34In 2025, manufacturing accounted for the lion’s share of Kyrgyzstan’s industrial output, representing 79.7 per cent of total output. This is according to data from the National Statistical Committee.
The share of mining and quarrying in the industrial sector for the year stood at 9.2 per cent, down from 10.7 per cent in 2024. The production and supply of electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning accounted for 10.2 per cent, compared with 11.3 per cent a year earlier.
The smallest share was accounted for by water supply, sewage treatment, waste management and the production of secondary raw materials – 0.9 per cent. Overall, the structure of Kyrgyzstan’s industry in 2025 continued to be dominated by the manufacturing sector, which increased its share from 77 per cent in 2024 to 79.7 per cent.
