    It has been announced whose equipment will be installed at the Kambar-Ata-2 hydroelectric power plant

    An international tender has been announced for Lot 1 («Turbine, generator, and station equipment») as part of the project «Commissioning of the second hydroelectric unit of the Kambar-Ata-2 HPP».

    The opening of bids for Lot 1 took place on October 22, 2024. Six companies submitted bids in accordance with international procurement standards.

    The winner of the tender was the DEC-SM consortium (Dongfang Electric International Corporation and SM Powertech Co., Ltd.), which offered the lowest price and the highest technical level.

    A contract was signed with the winner, allowing the project to move from the preparatory stage to construction and commissioning.
