08/27/2026, 17:01The National Bank of Kyrgyzstan has set the official exchange rates for foreign currencies for 28 August 2026. Compared with the rates on 27 August, the euro, the Russian rouble and the Kazakh tenge weakened against the KGS, whilst the Chinese yuan strengthened slightly. The US dollar exchange rate remained unchanged.
The US dollar exchange rate remained at 87.4500 KGS.
The euro fell from 102.0585 to 101.8661 KGS. The European currency depreciated by 0.1924 KGS, or around 0.19 per cent.
The Russian rouble fell from 1.0414 to 1.0310 KGS. The decline amounted to 0.0104 KGS, or around 1.0 per cent.
The Kazakh tenge fell from 0.1908 to 0.1892 KGS. The fall amounted to 0.0016 KGS, or around 0.84%.
The Chinese yuan rose from 13.0123 to 13.0133 KGS. The rise amounted to 0.001 KGS, or around 0.008%.
