According to the border service, all checkpoints on the Kyrgyz-Kazakh section of the state border are functioning without disruption.
However, due to a seasonal increase in freight traffic, a queue of approximately 150 lorries has formed at the Ak-Tilik checkpoint for vehicles leaving Kyrgyzstan. No traffic congestion has been reported at the point of entry into the country.
The agency noted that control procedures are being carried out efficiently, and staff are taking measures to expedite the processing of goods and vehicles whilst complying with safety requirements and legislation.
