05/25/2026, 13:06In January–March 2026, Kyrgyzstan exported 152.8 tonnes of honey worth 37.3 million KGS. This is more than 78 tonnes higher than in the same period last year.
According to the Ministry of Agriculture, exports of Kyrgyz honey continue to grow, driven by increased demand in foreign markets and the expansion of beekeepers’ export capacity.
The bulk of shipments went to neighbouring countries, with Uzbekistan becoming the largest importer of Kyrgyz honey.
In total, 152.8 tonnes of the product were exported in the first quarter of 2026, worth 37.3 million KGS ($426,600).
The ministry notes that Kyrgyz honey is strengthening its position in the international market thanks to its high quality and environmental purity.
