696 million KGS to be allocated to healthcare in Kyrgyzstan for capital expenditure

Kyrgyzstan’s Minister of Finance, Ruslan Suynaliev, has announced that 696 million KGS have been earmarked for capital expenditure in the healthcare sector under the budget. The funds are to be allocated to 34 projects across the country. He made this statement during the ‘Open Cabinet’ event.

According to the minister, the national budget for capital expenditure in 2026 totals 49.68 billion KGS, covering around 1,300 projects — including construction, major repairs, irrigation, social facilities and other areas.

Separately, Suynaliev highlighted healthcare funding: 696 million KGS has been allocated for 34 projects in this sector. To date, 401 million KGS has already been disbursed, representing approximately 57%.
