Delhi–Bishkek flight cancelled. Authorities are looking for alternative options for passengers

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic is working on finding alternative flights for passengers following the cancellation of the Aero Nomad Airlines flight scheduled for May 8.

The cancellation was caused by Pakistan’s closure of its airspace, which made it impossible to operate the flight along its main route passing through the conflict zone between India and Pakistan. The airline noted that its aircraft are technically unable to fly longer alternative routes through third countries.

“The cancellation of the flight left several citizens of Kyrgyzstan in a difficult situation at the international airport in New Delhi. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs urges citizens to refrain from traveling to India and Pakistan due to the current tense situation between the two countries,” the ministry added.
